Jose Villa, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC
Jose began his career as a military nurse-stabilizing and transporting critically ill patients, working with both adults and infants as a critical care nurse. He became a family nurse practitioner in 2001, using his extensive background in interventional cardiology and electrophysiology, with doctoral research in atrial fibrillation. He's worked in both military and civilian healthcare systems, exemplifying the values of service and commitment to his patients and community. He brings his experience to life in his practice, where he also mentors new generations of nurse practitioners.
Naomi Shimamoto, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, CLC
Naomi is a Family Nurse Practitioner with more than a decade of experience in women’s health, spanning labor and delivery, obstetric triage, postpartum care, and primary care. Before becoming an NP, she served as a charge nurse in busy labor and delivery units and provided breastfeeding and childbirth education to families. In addition to seeing patients in primary care, she currently teaches Maternal/Child clinical and simulation at Galen College of Nursing and the University of Texas Health Science Center, combining her clinical expertise with her passion for education. Her professional interests center on maternal health equity, prevention of complications across the lifespan, and holistic, patient-centered care that values family, lifestyle, and community.
Kelli Garza, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Kelli is a nurse practitioner with a heart of gold. She comes from Charlotte, Texas, and has made it her mission in life to bring healthcare where it's needed most-to rural communities. She practices at our Pleasanton location, and also heads a small non-profit clinic in Charlotte, Texas, where there's no other health care providers for miles.
Vicki Sparks, MD
Dr Sparks is our medical director, with decades of experience in emergency and family medicine.
Patty Gomez
Patty is the oil that keeps our office running smoothly. She manages appointments, billing, and all the office things.
Josephine Rios
Josephine is our medical assistant, helping draw labs, check vitals, room patients, and assist with telephone and office tasks.
